In addition, you should affix stickers at least 3/4 of an inch away from the edge of your helmet. This will ensure that your sticker doesn't act as a conductor between the inside and outside of your hard hat.

A good rule of thumb to follow when designing your hard hat stickers is to go with contrasting colours. If your hard hat is a dark colour, then choose a light-coloured sticker. If your hat is light-coloured, then go with a darker coloured sticker so that it will stand out better.

How to Apply Hard Hat Stickers
Step 1: Pull back half of the liner of your sticker.
Step 2: Line up the center of the sticker to the spot on your hard hat where you want it located
Step 3: Lightly press down the sticky part of the sticker that has the liner removed.
Step 4: Carefully pull back the remaining liner and lightly press the other half of the sticker in place.
Step 5: Starting from the center, gently work out any air bubbles or wrinkles you notice. Work evenly around your sticker.
